Description
Modesta BC-06 is a high performance protective coating designed specifically for wheels and brake calipers. It is part of Modesta’s premium range of automotive coatings known for their advanced technology and durability. The BC-06 is engineered to offer superior protection against harsh environmental elements, road grime, brake dust and high temperatures making it an ideal solution for automotive enthusiasts looking to preserve the appearance and functionality of their wheels and calipers.
Durability
One of the standout features of Modesta BC-06 is its long-lasting protection. The coating forms a highly durable hydrophobic layer that repels water, dirt, and contaminants, making cleaning much easier. It provides protection for up to 5 years depending on usage and maintenance.
Heat Resistance
BC-06 is designed to withstand extreme temperatures up to 1300°C (2372°F). This makes it ideal for brake calipers that experience high levels of heat during intense braking. The coating ensures it maintains its protective qualities and doesn’t degrade under such extreme conditions providing reliable performance even under heavy use.
Resistance to Brake Dust
The coating acts as a barrier between the wheel surface and the brake dust produced during braking. This helps in reducing the build up of brake dust which can be tough to remove and can degrade the appearance of wheels over time.
Hydrophobic Properties
The coating offers hydrophobic (water-repellent) properties that help to keep wheels cleaner for longer. Water and other liquids bead off the surface reducing the likelihood of contaminants sticking to the surface and making it easier to maintain a clean finish.
Enhancing Aesthetic Appeal
Modesta BC-06 enhances the appearance of wheels and calipers by giving them a glossy sleek finish. This aesthetic appeal is maintained over time even as the coating protects against the damaging effects of weather and road debris.
Ease of Maintenance
The coating minimizes the need for frequent cleaning, as contaminants are less likely to adhere to the surface. When cleaning is required it becomes much easier because the coating reduces the friction between dirt and the surface.
Chemical Resistance
Modesta BC-06 also provides strong resistance to chemicals, oils and other harsh cleaning agents, protecting the wheel and caliper surfaces from potential damage that could occur from chemical exposure.
Summary
Modesta BC-06 Wheel & Caliper Coating is a premium product designed for car enthusiasts who want to protect their wheels and brake components from harsh conditions while maintaining a high aesthetic standard. Its combination of durability, heat resistance up to 1300°C and hydrophobic properties makes it a top choice for those looking to enhance and preserve their vehicle’s wheels and
calipers.
